Martin Lester BSc. (Hons.) Osteopathy

I have been a practicing osteopath since 2007. When I started my practice I created a calming and peaceful space for patients to come to. Studying osteopathy at the College of Osteopaths for five years and practicing for a further four years since has given me a wide range of experience to draw on. I treat many injuries and conditions, and patients and even members of the medical profession are often surprised at my success.

In 2007, I did a post-graduate Diploma in Healthcare Acupuncture at the Asante Academy of Chinese Medicine which has helped me develop needling, cupping and moxibustion skills when treating acute and chronic pain, useful when the pain is so intense that the patient won’t let me use osteopathic techniques, and also in the elderly.

In 2008 I trained at the Scottish School of Colon Hydrotherapy which added another dimension to the treatment of patients with bowel irregularities. Together with visceral osteopathy, the results have been most effective.

I teach osteopathic technique at both the College of Osteopaths and the London School of Osteopathy. I am also secretary of the Welwyn Hatfield Therapists Group which meets once a month to discuss different therapies and to listen to others' presentations.

Practicing and teaching osteopathic technique, I came across some patients suffering musculoskeletal problems as a result of long term asthma. Treating the symptoms of hypertonic respiratory muscles was only a short tem fix as the underlying breathing problem remained. That is when I looked into the Buteyko Breathing Technique. In 2011 I became a Teaching Member of the Buteyko Breathing Association.

David Lintonbon DO PG Cert (Clinical Education)

Registered Osteopath to Bupa PPP and all health insurance companies, I have been practicing osteopathy for 25 years since graduating from the British School of Osteopathy in 1985.

I currently teach Osteopathic Manipulative Skills at several UK and worldwide colleges: London School of Osteopathy, NESCOT, Irish College of Osteopathic Medicine, Japanese College of Ostoepathic Medicine and the Osteopathic Association of Italy

I have also produced a DVD entitled The Art of HVT covering Osteopathic Manipulative Techniques

I am also the developer of the MyoGel Ice Pack, an anti-inflammatory gel for easing joint and muscle pain and can also be used as an ultra-sound coupling gel.

Sue Pready

I have been practicing and teaching Reiki since 2003 when I qualified as a Reiki Master Teacher and left my post in local government to work in the healing arts. I am a member of both the Reiki Federation and the Reiki Association and have worked in three complementary health clinics, two hospices on a voluntary basis and in private practice.

I take an ethical approach to my work and am bound by the Codes of Conduct of each healing modality I practice. Underlying my overall approach is a personal guiding ethos reflected in these words:

"Deep inside you exists a place of infinite beauty and rest, of dancing and joy and playful being, of limitless vision and infinite abundance. This space constitutes our true being.
This is the Space Within You"
